Colombia hosts more 1900 bird species, more than any other country in the world. It would be very difficult to cover the entire country on a single birding trip, but one compact area is the Santa Marta and Guajira region on the northern coast near the Venezuelan border. Here we can find some of the birds that are found throughout Colombia, along with a nice collection of endemic or regional endemics in the Santa Marta highlands and in the dry scrub of the Guajira peninsula. This quiz concentrates on birds of this regions, along with a few specialties from Bogota.
